Yay! According to Side-Line.com,
Erasure are working on a Christmas album which should be due out this winter. The band is currently recording in Vince Clarke’s studio which is based in Brooklyn, New York. The album will not only hold Erasure’s take on a few Christmas classics but also some own Christmas songs. Expect some really cheesy material, hardly an insult for the electropop duo.
The band made the announcement in a video, which seems to be shot out of the blue looking at the way Andy Bell is being filmed. Fun times there in Brooklyn. The above picture was made by Erasure.ru, it’s not an official picture, yet.
Can’t wait! Until then, my erasure favorite at Christmas remains “She Won’t Be Home”.
